vkb nxt evo kg12 - How to toggle Analog POV for HAT

Postby Spaxspore » Thu Oct 12, 2023 23:39

Love the Joystick, but i am a total newbie with these. I for the life of me can not find out how to switch the HAT to POV mode. Tried to figure it out in software and videos, but many just mention other sticks that have a toggle button on them.

Any advice or assitence would greatly be apprecaited

The KG12 grip has only a hat switch. Only the SCG Premium and MCG grips have a ministick which provides swapping through analog/digital.

sorry i am a very a newbie with joysticks, last joystick i bought was a freedom 2.4ghz back 15+ years ago. So to be clear the HAT on this flight stick works like a button rather than using it as additional axis switch for smooth pov use - correct?

I apprecaite the responses.

Yes, what you have on the KG12 grip is a classic hat switch with buttons. The ministick has 2 stages - analog, with axes and digital, buttons. They're not clicking on actuation, it's rather similar with a ministick on a console controller.

perfect that was what i wanted to double check, because some posts regarding the KG12 seemed like you had to switch it over. I appreciate the responses.
