Changing the 0 point of the throttle?

Postby harliquin76 » Wed May 03, 2023 16:41

So I have the Gladiator NXT EVO Omni Throttle that I use in my left hand. I am playing Mechwarrior 5 and what I would like to do is remove the spring from the y / physical 2 axis, the clutch it, but I would like to have the center move from the 50% mark back to about 75% mark. that way I have more control of my speed, but also have my reverse still when I need it. Is that possible at all?

Yes it is. If you are familiar with vkbdevcfg.exe (I hope), try to set up this axis. After it is calibrated as usual try to play with Bias value - sets response center, and KdHi and KdLo - sets corresponding ranges. Use vkbjoytester.exe to see response changes.
