Virtual controllers GNX + THQ

Hi All

I've just bought a THQ that I added to my GNX (so without dedicated HID controller for the THQ). Great gear!

I understand I have more than 8 axis in total so the tool has virtually created a second controller.

I would like to change the split of axis/buttons made automatically by DevCfg. My objective would be to have:
- A virtual device with all the axis and buttons of the GNX, called gnx.
- A virtual device with all the axis and buttons of the THQ, called thq.

Would this be doable?

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I didn't manage to find any related reference in the forum or manual.

Yes it is. My configuration is not exactly lke your but similar. Your Gladiator = my GNX HID. THQ the same. General - to edit parameters. If THQ - edit is impossible.
First of all set 1 virtual controller. Then for your THQ=General set incoming axes mot to controller 1. but for 2. They will be configured in common list as some after #8, 1st controler axes. Set them as Enable, visible, virtual and so on. Calibrate.

Thank for your quick reply. I have followed your instructions and it works very well for the axis.

Is there anything I can do regarding the buttons and the name of the two items? For the names: I know how to differenciate them in the devcfg tool but outside in windows/dcs/msfs/etc the original and the virtual devices have the same name.

Regardless to virtual controllers number buttons have common space of 128.
I do not know how to rename controllers outside vkbdevcfg(.
