How to limit an axis response with different limits?

Hi,
I use the Y axis of my Omnithrottle as a throttle.
I want to limit the maximum response from this throttle in some circumstances.
I found 2 ways of doing that with a fixed value (enabling/disabling DR on the axis / enabling/disabling a custom curve on the physical axis).
But I would like to set several max responses - like 100%, 75% , 25%, 10% - depending on the situation.
I tried combining DR and custom curve, but it seems then that you cannot enable DR without the custom curve being also active.
Is there a way to achieve this result?
Is it also possible to limit the max response of an axis based on the value of another axis?
Thanks for your help!
