I am trying to see how I can permanently change the axis of the joysticks through the VKB software. It has probably been answered before.

Can you describe the task more specifically?

So specifically I am playing StarCitizen. When ever I login my left stick is supposed to be throttle forward is strafe forward. And zrot left is strafe up zrot right is strafe down. Every time I start the game I have to go into settings and invert both settings. To get them to work properly. If I could get both axis to be inverted from the hardware it would save me the trouble.

It is very wrong to assign axes to digital input, is there any reason you'd do that? If not, try to bind axes to analog controls (like Strafe left/right instead of Strafe Left and Strafe Right). If you invert an axis in SC it should save it in that position without the need to do it every time when you log in. If your settings are not saved that's not good, but I don't know how to fix that and definitely inverting the axes in VKBDevCfg wouldn't help.
