SEM Landing Gear 3 LEDs

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to link the Landing Gear 3 LEDs (triangle shaped) to the actual status of the landing gear of the simulation, be it XP, MSFS or P3Dv5.
In other words, to have the LEDs green if the gear is actually down and red if it is up, no matter where the landing gear lever is positioned on the SEM.
So if i operate the gear with the "G" key on the keyboard, the LED's will change color accordingly.

Hope i was clear enough in the description of what i would like to accomplish.
