Is there a level of error that is acceptable between the stick and Gunfighter 3 base? here are picks of what I'm getting while moving the stick around. when I dont move the stick it has no errors. I tried removing the stick, wiping with alcohol, reseating while pushing down, checking pins. here are pictures of issue:
This is what it looked like after I unplugged and pluged back in the wires in the pcb in the base, its better but still has some errors:

Those are normal. Tall blocks, yellow or red, are not. Stop looking at it and start playing

Update: getting yellow and orange spikes, only two within about a 30min test. Theres no pattern to movement that causes it if any at all, it seems like it does it with almost little to no input. pictures attached, base unit seems to have no errors though.

Are those blocks showing up when you're moving the joystick?

Yes the spikes are during movement but there is no pattern as to what movement causes it. When the stick is not touched there are absolutely no errors.
I removed the base plate and tried jiggling the wires and plugs going to the pcb and had no errors. It’s only when moving the stick.

Clean up the 3 contact pads at top of base stem with a cloth and a bit of alcohol.

I already tried that, amongst reseating the grip, jiggling the wires and the pins.

I think I figured out the issue, and I think its not just the MCG Ultimate but also the SCG grip too since I have one and its exhibiting similar behavior with a Gladiator NXT evo base. All I did was drag the Grip, holding down shift, to the first position under external devices, set to device and the random dual white LED's turning on stopped.
I have a gladiator to Gunfighter3 adapter so i could try the SCG with the Gunfighter base to see if its the same issue. Ill test the same fix with the SCG gladiator/gunfighter base in the next day or two when I have more time.
Can anyone from VKB confirm what dragging the Grip holding shift into the first slot actually does? here is the after screenshot of error reporting, no more yellow or orange spikes, more importantly, no more flashing white LED's distracting me in mid flight. I also attached links to other posts in the forums where people either identify the LED's or connection issues.

That's good news, thanks for testing and confirming. The user who suggested the solution, Zero_Thunder, is the head of our service department so surely he surely knows what he's talking about

I tried the SCG grip with Gladiator base, had no issues like I did with the Gunfighter/MCG ultimate. I'll try the Gunfighter/SCG combo next to see if its similar to MCGU grip, unless someone else can test it before I can.
