I found some suction cups that fit the corner base holes on the Gladiator base and have plastic screws so it doesnt scratch the base. They are the perfect length screw and width and dont stick up to scratch your hand on. Here is a link on amazon for them, and I hope this helps anyone else with lift off issues:
