Twist lock on the NXT Evo KG12?

Since my rudder pedals will be here shortly and I can't find instructions in either the joystick's/grip's box or on YT...

I do get which baggie to use for the job... there's a small screw, a spring washer, a regular washer and two small rubber pads with adhesive on them in there. I also know where to put the screw... because it's pretty obvious.. :D

However: I'm not sure in what order I would place the spring washer and washer and what exactly I'm supposed to do with those rubber pads. Are they just for "cosmetic" purposes (to cover the screw-head once it's in place)?

Cheers

Sascha

The rubber pads are an extension for the side button (if you want to make it to stick out).
To lock the grip: bolt, spring washer, washer.

Just because I'm an idiot and want to be super clear on this to not do any damage:

I'd put the spring washer over the screw first, then the normal washer, then insert the screw into the hole and tighten it?

So when the screw is in place and tightened, the order will be: screw's head, spring washer, washer, grip.

Correct?

I did?

Oh well... Crosswinds arrived today, so I guess I won't be needing the twist-axis any longer, anyway... :P

EDIT : And thanks for mentioning what to do with those rubber pads. I put the taller one on there and the button went from "awkward to use" to "actually usable"... :)
