How to calibrate T-Rudders for CFS2

Just received and installed my new VKB T-Rudders. I know this is ancient but I use Windows XP for my OS. They work perfectly straight out of the box with fs9 but not with CFS2. It appears that the rudders use the X axis rotation and this is fine for fs9. But it seems that CFS2 requires the Z axis rotation. Can anyone tell me how to achieve this?

Show the Profile-Axes tab (logical and physical) from the configurator. Then a couple of mouse clicks can solve your problem in a more specific way.

Here's a JPG of the configurator showing the Profile-Axes tab.

Change the name in the HID Usage column opposite the 7th axis from RotX to Z and press the Set button to write the changes to the controller. Then from the Tools menu we calibrate. After it, the numbers 255,255,0 should not be physical axes.

Thanks for your help Ron61, I did as you said and although I saved a profile it made no difference, only the X rotation works in CFS2.

I did not understand a little - so the problem was solved?
If not, then rename the name to the one you need for the game according to this algorithm.

No, the problem is not solved. I changed the name in the HID Usage column opposite the 7th axis from RotX to Z and pressed the Set button to write the changes to the controller. Then calibrated on the Tools menu. Nothing changed. Only the X rotation works in CFS2.
