Hi guys,
I have a GNX SEM+THQ. I would like to ask if it would be possible to use the SEM rotary switch to multiplex different "virtual devices" or something similar. For this way, depending on the position of the rotary switch, I could have different axes and buttons on the SEM+THQ. In short, could I have more axes and buttons configured on the device? For example, a user case in Star Citizen, mode 1 = standard, mode 2 = mining, mode 3 = salvage and mode 4 = other. In this way I could have more buttons and axes available than physical ones.
Thanks
PS: Excuse my English.
How to multiplex GNX SEM+THQ with the SEM rotary switch?

Not sure if it's the "best" way but this is what I did.
1) Go to Profile > Buttons > Buttons Physical layer.
2) Find the Button for each state of the rotary switch.
3) Set 1 with the Button mapping wizard to No Function.
4) Set 2, 3 and 4 to SubSHIFT with Number 1, 2 and 3.
5) Go through all Buttons you want to map, set them to ButtonS, SubSHIFT #: 3 and Type: Multi. For Button choose the first of 3 free buttons. #1 should remain as default, #2 should be what you selected in Button and #3 and #4 should be automatically selected.

Re: How to multiplex GNX SEM+THQ with the SEM rotary switch?
I'm not 100% sure so take this as a 90% answer but I don't think it's possible to use one physical axis as multiple virtual axis.
For one the VKB Software doesn't support it.
But more importantly there are some hard limits set by Windows like 8 axis and 128 buttons per controller.
With 3 on the stick, another 2 for the mini stick and another 1 for the axis on the base that's already 6 for just the Gladiator EVO.
The SEM has 2 axis and the THQ 3. So if you combine a EVO with a single SEM or THQ you are already maxed out.
If you combine a SEM and THQ you're at 5 with room for 3 more but I guess that case wasn't common enough for VKB to invest it making a possibility in their software/firmware.

The question is - What state of axis X must stay if you turn it to axis Q(for example) using rotary?
