Encoder as Axis - Unable to Increase Sensitivity

Postby millytron » Mon Mar 21, 2022 6:40

Hello,

I have the Gladiator NXT and using some guides I've changed Encoder 1 to function as a virtual axis Slider 1. I want to increase the sensitivity of this new axis. I have tried playing with the settings in the button mapping wizard like the multiplier (1x through 8k), and the box that (per the manual) changes the numbers of pulses (Virt, Adv, 1/4, 2/4,4/4), but none of these settings appears to have any affect on the sensitivity of the axis at all under the Test tab (Axes 1, Slider 1).

Please see the attached for photo of what I presume are the relevant settings.

Thanks for any guidance!

The Multiplier (the one set up to 512x in your screenshot) should surely do what you want. If it doesn't please upgrade to latest firmware and software, following these steps.

Thank you for getting back to me. I did have to update my firmware, but afterwards the Multiplier still does not appear to change the responsiveness in the Test section.
