Hi, I want to set up virtual toe-brakes for my T-Rudders and I understand that I can't use T-Link if my Rudder is plugged on the same BlackBox as my Gunfighter.
But according to this tutorial, one can simply enable it in VKBdevCfg in a similar way (and even make it analogue and more versatile if set up with a MCG grip).
Am I missing something that makes T-Link superior in a way to these alternative solutions?
Thanks!

Re: How to use T-Link for T-Rudders
Having both joystick and rudders using the same Black Box provides more control over setting up the virtual toe-brakes than using them through T-Link.
Re: How to use T-Link for T-Rudders
I've read if I don't use a VKB Joystick (X52Pro), then instead of using VkbCfg, I need to be using T-Link.
Is there anything special I have to consider, because T-Link doesn't seem to recognize any button I press on my HOTAS...
Thanks!

Well shit; do you know how to do it in these apps? Maybe got a link to a tutorial? That'd be nice

T-Link actually works with joysticks other than VKB. Just follow the steps in OP.
Re: How to use T-Link for T-Rudders
Thanks, glad to get some official statement about that
Hm, I tried; that's why I've asked in my previous post, what could be wrong; why am I not able to use my Joystick's button... I press "start", the info box reads "receiving", but I can press whatever button I want, it never registers in T-Link

I finally managed to make the "button 5" on my Joystick work!!
But: the "brake axis" doesn't activate, even though the button does? Here's a video showing what I mean:

Could it be that my new Mk4 pedals came pre-configured to be used solely with VkbCfg? Rudder is "Rot-X"; the pre-configured brake axis would then be "Rot-Z" and "-Y"?
Maybe I first need to "clean" the VkbCfg-Settings, as those get written directly onto the device, correct?

Re: How to use T-Link for T-Rudders
Try again after resetting the rudders to default and recalibrating them.
Re: How to use T-Link for T-Rudders
Is there a way to not have rudder activate as the same time as the breaks when using T-Link? MSFS seems to always pick up the rudder input when I want to bind the brakes...
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hello, it appears that the download link for t-link no longer works
Re: How to use T-Link for T-Rudders
Hello,
inside the T-link shofware, I press Aux button, then Start button, then the arrow and I press brake level witch activate the "vitual" brake button, and I have correct feedback on the main display.
But when I do the Test by pressing the brake button, Lft Brk and Right Brk do nothing..the Brakes "light" comes on.
Do I have to disable alfo in the T-Link software after configuring the braking button? Maybe I have to configure something in the VKB software?
By the way, with ZBootloader2 I installed_BB_Mk2_TRudder_v2_16_5, no _BB_Mk2_TRudder_Slave_v2_16_5.
