Hello everyone,
When I connect and load everything for Gladiator NXT Premium, there is no way to set Axis controls for Camera view for no reason:
When hover the mouse over it, it says "No Command Available for this device", meaning it's on a hardware level. Which should not be the case for Premium version which features the mini-stick with Axis controls.
Could you please let me know if there is any way to make this work and let DCS give a possibility to add the Axis controls for the premium mini-stick?
And yes, I'm aware that there is a View option that uses POV. It works really bad being fully directional and feel awkward. Was purchasing the Premium version specifically to use the Axis mode of the mini-stick for the Camera View controls.
Any help will be much appreciated!

Your picture doesn't show, please reupload.
The ministick has 2 functions: POV, which is digital and could get assigned to buttons functions and axes - analog, that could get assigned to axes functions. To swap between the modes you'll have to press the center button. When the axes mode is on the red LED on the head of the grip is on. When the LED is off the ministick is in POV mode.

Here is the picture
As you can see, there is no matter if I push the stick or not, it doesn't let me assign Axis commands by saying that No Command Available for this device. Even when I click the mini-stick, the camera axis field remains non-active

You can also see that other fields above an under camera axis controls are active, meaning I can assign stuff there.

Here is the message when I hover my mouse over the needed axis options.

I just checked, those specific camera controls won't work on any of my devices. Try to bind your Gladiator to other analog and digital controls in game. If it works, then everything is fine with the joystick and your question should be addressed on DCS' forums, you have more chances to find a proper answer.

Hey. Same issue here. Do you let me know, if you solved it?

Try to set the ministick to a virtual mouse. This works for me on DCS. There is a VKB youtube video that explains how to do that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io2qSKM0gs4

Hi TRNow
in DCS i control my Camera view with the Ministick too.
I use the Mini Stick together with opentrack, work fine
Ministick X Y Axis to Opentrack\ Opentrack in DCS as Track IR

If the POV is set up as normal, they should essentially register as buttons when you slide in any direction, but they do not function like an axis. There are two options, make that a virtual mouse or stop trying to bind buttons in Axis Commands. You would want to be in POV mode when on "All but Axis Commands" controls and when moving you should see something like "POV_Button_Up" and that would be to "Look up Slow"
