How to make the MCG Pro trigger act like a master arm switch?

I want to set the pro trigger as my master arm switch for aircraft in DCS, with the UP position being ARMED and the down position being SAFE. Anyway of doing this in the VKB software, such as making the up position of the trigger a button itself?

Have you tried to map it in game as it is? If yes, what didn't worked?

It just functions as a button and the up position doesn't do anything. When I bring the switch down, it toggles the master arm switch but pushing it up doesn't toggle the switch again; it only toggles when I bring the trigger back down.

Not sure how it works in game, but let's try this: make the changes as shown below and press the Set button. Then bind again in game and let me know if it works or not.
Also make sure your device is properly calibrated.

In case you are flying the A-10 (any version), be adviced you can also make the flip of the trigger do two things at the same time. I'm using this to always flip GUN ARM too. Go to Profile --> Logical layer and make a free logical button of your choice generate two button presses going up (i'm using #35 and #42) and another two (#34 and #38 for example) going down. See attached image. Then map them the same way you mapped your MASTER ARM switch in DCS.

Now when you flip the trigger, both switches activate.
