Setting up for my first time, is there any functional difference/advantage/disadvantage to a combination of springs versus a single spring on a cam?
So 2x #20 vs 1x #40?
Or a #30 + #20 vs a single #50 etc.?
Gunfighter mk3: 2x #20 springs vs 1x #40 spring. Any functional difference?

Please note that the numbers on springs bags are just labels and they don't represent any units of measurements. So 2x#20 =/= 1x#40 and #30+#20 =/= #50.
I find the 2 springs per cam more stable than 1 spring per cam though, but this is just a personal observation.

Interesting thank you.
The springs are still varying degrees of strength right?
So for instance my #20A bag has 6 springs. If I were to do 2x #20A on each cam that’s less strength than 2x #30A on each cam.
Also what are the springs that come installed? I want to drop them in the right bag.
Also wanted to ask why the #10 bag doesn’t have an “A”?
Thanks again

#10s are the same with the previous version of springs which were provided together with the GFII bases. When GFIII came out, it came with a new set of springs, the A ones.
It's easy to say which springs are coming installed, as all bags contain 8 springs; if your #20 bag has 6 springs, then the missing 2 are already installed.
