Brake lever

Hi
Could somebody explain to me how it works ? I do not understand what low limit et high limit are for ?

The MCG/MCG Pro brake lever is an axis (analog), but it could be used as buttons too (digital). If MCG brake box is checked then the brake lever cold be used as buttons. We get the default button 39 assigned to it; it's position along the range of the axis is set by that slider (moving the slider sets up the button along the axis range). There's also a low and a high limit options which, if checked, could add 1 button to low range end and the other close to high range end.

So I understand but I do not see what use we could give to those new buttons
