What is flip? What more specifically do you want to get?

The flip up/down trigger is an axis, not just a two-stage trigger.
So get that axis visible so it can be used as brake axis or something else as wanted.

If you have an MCG Pro, there is a brake lever. If you have a simple MCG grip, then there is no sensor on the axis. There is only a button

.

Sorry, Doesn't answer for the question.
Is it possible get the flip (folding) trigger (MCG PRO to now be more accurate) axis to be visible, same way as brake lever?

Just to help, apparently it is possible to assign the flip trigger an axis instead of one other, such as the Twist axis if you don't use that.
Ron61, this is for users who need both the brake lever and the flip trigger axis. There is a further mystery how to make the flip trigger axis cover the full range of the Z axis (twist/rudder), rather than just half. Any help appreciated!

Doing this worked on mine to assign axis onto the flip trigger (axis 7, the one usually assigned to the twist, if you have it), though I'm not actually using the flip trigger as an axis.
When you calibrate it, start with the flip trigger down. After you pulled on the flip trigger couple of times during the calibration, make sure to flip up the trigger as well before ending the calibration. Otherwise, it'll read at max value when the trigger is flipped up. The movement range is rather short, but you can get full range after it's flipped down this way.
