VKB UCM Stronghold

Postby Maveryck86 » Thu Jan 16, 2020 6:00

Hello,

I just got my VKB UCM Stronghold Ace-S combo and there were no instructions on how to assemble anything else besides the UCM-S and UCM-L. I am trying to find out how to install the Warthog Throttle to a plate and into one of my UCM. The way I assembled it, makes the throttle wobble around and feels like at some point is going to bend or damage the plate from the constant use. If someone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. A call out to KB-SIM, please update those generic instructions.

Hi,

Sorry to resurrect this thread.

Would be good to have videos and detailed manuals for the UCM Stringhold S|WT. It's the only item I believe without an instructional video.

Anyway, I just got this mount and I'm trying to mount an X-55 throttle. Is this even possible at all? I know it's not designed for the X-55, just seeing if there's a workaround. Secondly, I am trying to figure out what this part is for and how to install it:

Thanks!

Does KVB sell these alternative mounts/plates? Could not seem to find these on the online store.

Hitting this up again. Just received the UCM Strongold S w/ the Warthog Throttle Plate. Are there any instructions for the plate? Didn't see any videos on the you tube channel.

I'm toying with the idea of getting a gunfighter omni combo. To that end, it would be important to me that the base plate could also be rotated. Incline and depth is possible, but I would like to have this option, especially when throttling. Is there a way to do this or is there something planned?

If you want to rotate the base plate with a GF base on it, then it would only work on pitch axis. The Gladiator NXT would also rotate on yaw axis.

The clamps are getting pretty deep into the desk, so if you really need some yaw offset I guess you could get it from installing the whole setup at an angle.

This is a good idea! I'll try that as soon as I'm back home. But that will take a few more weeks because I have to wait for the recovery from my hip surgery
