NXT Gladiator EVO axis swap - New FW

I had followed the guide by Gargouille, http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=6741. And it worked great. Updated the stick's FW this morning to 2.19.6, as well as updated VKBCFG. Now when I press the axis swap button. it'll set the Rot Z to '65535' and the slider axis will work. Then when I hit the button again, Rot Z will be usable, and it'll set Slider to '65535'. If I set the seventh axis to relative mode, the slider axis in the test screen will not move at all.

Any ideas on a work around? I've been trying to find a list of older FWs to downgrade, but this far haven't had any luck.
