Set STECs rotaries to analog?

I have three main rotaries on the STECS, ... one under my left pinky finger, one almost under my left middle finger, and one down low under my left thumb. If I try to use these in DCS to control axes, they do not respond. How can I simply turn all three rotaries into analog rotaries and control things trim on P51?
