How to repead Button press -> Generator G8 / Show profile in config SW

Hello everybody,

I just got a Gladiator NXT Pro R and I'm happy with it

Comming from X52Pro and returned two new devieces, because of the massive physical axes deadzone of 1mm in each direction.

I started to play Star Wars X-Wing special edition remastered (steam). I could map every button/pov in the game.

I map the A3 hat left button 7 to key T which is "select next target". Every time I press the button the next target is selected. But don't want to press for example 10 times to cycle through the targets.

I like to set the following funktion to button 7:

One press = next target, as it is now
Hold button 7 = repeads the press until it is released (cycle through targets)

I cecked the funktions Tempo and Generator in the manual but it is very technical english, so saddly I gave up. It wold be good to have more examples in it. I also searched the board but could not find a settingwith my limeted technical english.

Any help is appreciated!

ops that easy, damn it Thank you for your qick reply!

I thought to complicated when I tried to set it up. It is woking as I wont with Generator function G8.

Default Generator setting was to fast, so I reduced the puls speed with T_Gen.mS = 100 on global tab.

I'm realy impresssed!

Is there an info in the config software which shows the actual profile name stored in the device?
Maybe I'm blind, couldn't find it in the tabs, info tab or in device report.
Would be nice -> more games, more profiles

It's easy to do, I'll show you step by step.
1. in the zconfig.ini file, at the bottom of the [User] section, add lines for each profile, like Profile 1 (... 255) = DCS Spitfire and close the file with saving

2.after that, in the configurator, in the Global-Common tab in the Profile ID window, inserting the number of our profile (1 ... 255), we see the rest of the inscription that appears
3. and now we associate the number with the profile configured for each aircraft (game, grip) by pressing the Set button
4. only now we save the profile with the Save button, I recommend that you immediately indicate the firmware version in the name (it is possible that when a new firmware is released, this profile will not be picked up, but you will know which one it worked for) and usually I write the name as after the (=) sign, so as not to get confused .

I followed your steps and now actual profile name stored in the devide is shown on startup

I also added the profile numbers to the config files and profile names in zconfig.ini.

Maybe this workaround can be send to the software engineers for implementing in next software version, I'm prepared now
