Howto make a mode the default mode

Postby Kisakuru » Sat Oct 17, 2020 14:50

I got a Gladiator MK II

I am comfortable with using VKBDevConfig in setting modes and shifts, but I did not manage to figure out how to set the default mode.

When i start my Joystick the "red" mode is on (red LED). I would like to have the "green" mode as default. Is it possible to do that with VKBDevConfig?

Thanks in advance

(great configuration editor by the way!)

There's no easy method to achieve that, like checking a box that would swap modes. The only way to do it is to completely manually reprogram the buttons so whatever clicks in one mode would get swapped in the other mode.

Ok thanks for the extreme fast replay.
Then i will just press the button instead, once after system restart, to get into the green mode. I think that is less prone to errors if i want to change something in the future than having special programming on each button.

You can change the default color without comprehending all the subtleties of the settings. Check the box here and get the desired result.

:D

Now that is a creative workaround!

Makes exactly what i want. Have to reprogram the settings from one mode to the other but it solves my problem.

Thank you!
