Question, If one get the OMNI pre-installed, could you just remove it and put the stick normally or would you need a "straight" piece? or is that piece still included?

No, they're different products - Gladiator EVO comes with straight connector and Gladiator EVO OTA with the extension. If you want both OTA and straight connector you'll have to get any of the packages plus the other one connector/extension, both ways leads to the same total price.

I'd just placed my order on the AU store for my Omni throttle, but as soon as I saw this, emailed them and ask them to hold the order until this was available!

Those dry clutches are a game-changer, though I do wonder if this is a TECS killer...Obviously die-hard flight simmers would still get it on release, but the versatility of this, especially as an omni, truly is a godsend for us more casual simmers who want to fly jets, space ships, arcade-y games like Project Wingman, and the like.

VKB, you've done it again! Love the work, love the products - can't wait to get my hands on this!

the 3 way switch should be available to purchase separately as an upgrade to the premium base. the software already allows the encoders to be programmed as 3 way auto centering switches and the encoder rollers are entirely useless. it wouldn't make sense to not have an upgrade path for these given a) the amount of time your techs put into the programming software and b) the idea that the nxt is supposed to be interchangeable and customizable. if there's a reason this cant be done. please let the community know.

OMG!
I ordered the NXT as soon as the notification popped up last thursday (march 3rd).
Now I find this. The stick is still in transit and should be delivered next thursday (march 10th) according to UPS.
I'm pretty sure it'll not be the EVO and read here that it'll even be cheaper that the older version that I still don't have. If that's the case, I feel scammed to be honest.
Is there any way to return the NXT for the newer EVO? I wouldn't mind paying the more expensive price of the old model for a new one. If that's an option.
Should I write to customer service and expose my case?

You can hardly feel 'scammed' by bad timing. Unlucky, yes, but not scammed. And as Fallout9 has said, just ship it back and buy the other stick you want. I was nearly in the same boat, as I had just bought a NXT-L OTA days before the announcement.

But I reached out to customer service straight away and managed to have my order changed to an EVO-L OTA. Customer service is who you want to talk to, not a forum...
