Yes, the KG12 grip has twist on either NXT, NXT EVO or GunFighter base.

I am really excited about the Omni Throttle having a left handed option.

I've been on the fence for years about a dual configuration and once I saw the way the Premium Grip is set up (it's perfect as I am missing the top half of my left thumb and the HAT button along the right side of the grip will definitely come in handy/ pun intended), I unfortunately had the money like a day or so too late. All left handed grips for the Gladiator Premium Sticks are out of stock. I figured I could get the regular one and slap the Omni Conversion onto it, but the normal lefty is out as well.

I threw my name in the hat for them to reach out when stock is back up, but sheesh, talk about bad timing.lol

The area where the warehouse holding the left hand grips is got under lockdown about a week ago for coronavirus reasons. Should open up any day now and the left hand grips will get back in stock.

I got the NXT Evo Omnithrottle L today and it's everything I'd hoped for an more. Just one question, what is this little rubber bit used for? Thanks.

That piece covers the hole where you could install a cable to connect it to a NXT module, if the case comes. The hole is on the base, under the VKB logo, in case you can't find it.

I got my Evo OTA L mid week, and it's been a dream. Compliments my R NXT beautifully, loving the dry clutch. Set it up with my favourite flight and space sims, and it works a treat. Couldn't be happier with it, thank you VKB, its a beauty!

just to confirm, we unlucky ones whom ordered the regular NXT just days before the launch of the EVO, will be able to upgrade the base or to buy a standalone base?

If I'm correct, we were supposed to get standalone EVO base at some point,
but it seems we're gonna have a "gimbal upgrade kit"
which is nicer than having to swap the base in my opinion... (the upgrade kit will be cheaper than a complete base obviously)

Hmmm... if I interpret that video correctly, it seems that you do have to do some work on the non EVO NXT's base/case as well. I mean besides simply removing the old gimbal and putting in the new/EVO one. I could be wrong of course...

the upgrade kit isnt really an upgrade without the auto centering switch... its just a gimbal upgrade and with all the swapping you have to do id rather just buy the base alone.
