Hello,

"Not only grips are a separate module, but they also are built with modularity in mind.".
I do not understand. Modularity : OK

"separate module" ??? Does it mean that the grips are interchangeable (like the gunfighter and the different gips) ?

Best regards

Enough about grips? - nearly so. Worth mentioning though that modern combat aviation grips will be released first, but civil aviation grips and their space sim cousins are slated to follow.

Since it is written like this, I think that the entire grip can be replaced.

I hear sliding throttles (I guess rail throttles?) are more ergonomic, but I have a feeling I will arc throttles. And isn't an arc throttle the way throttles have always been traditionally? I don't understand why "even conservative aircraft makers are turning to arc throttles," when that is how throttles have been traditionally. I must be misunderstanding something!

Soviet designs often had a rail mounted to left side of cockpit wall, where the throttle was with very long travel length. It didn't take space from left console and it was always offering your grip being same without tilting.

Look example MiG-23, Su-25, Su-27 and MiG-29 etc throttle designs. Funnily MiG-21 throttle was as well tilting one.

So in Soviet designs, traditional has been rail throttle instead tilting.

Grips can be swapped, like the photo one is Su-35S grip. And not just that, you can swap individual hat modules in the grips like in MCGU, so you can swap a mini-stick to button or 5-way hat.

If you buy different bases, you can swap bases and keep the same grips and so on...

What are the chances we get an ambidextrous grip or right hand grip? Just asking for lefties.

Good question. From what I hear real fighters have left hand throttles. I can understand if VKB want to stick to realism and maybe the demand is also low.. I can dream though :)

I have another question

Is the movement distance of the grip the same between arc and rail?
