Fair enough! I can only think of one other throttle that's a bit more expensive and then another that's a lot more expensive. I'd rather wait for this or even better the SEM so I can control my entire HOTAS from one control panel.

I'd still really want to know the differences between the flightsim model and the planned spacesim one though.

Same here. I primarily play Elite and have Squadrons to try out, and I might want to try other flight sims (but haven’t gotten there quite yet).

I wonder what it would be like to switch to the "Flat rail" design after having an arc track for all these years. Wonder if its a big difference to get used to or not.

Better. After decade with arc design and then buying TM 16000 for the throttle and the CH Pro Throttle, the rail design is far nicer to the wrist. All buttons and hats stay in place and arm position tells more accurately the throttle position then angeles in arc design.

As well you get nicer and better grip to push/pull throttle. These with a re-creased throttles.

What I really need to know is......

when this thing gets released, what section in the VKB NA store will it be in? I usually check three times a day, I can't let the rest of these clodhoppers buy them all up before I can finish my 'cockpit'.

It's the last thing I need to finish the "play" section of my DCS computer build. LOL I already screwed up by not getting a graphics card when they were available, I'm not missing this!

Funny you should say that. Check the news or YouTube for "Ontario Fireworks." Whoever blew up their house with illegal fireworks must want your throttle REALLY badly! There were even people screaming on the streets.

I’ve seen that, but it was only a small event. When TECS comes out we’ll get videos shot from the orbit.
