Gladiator upgrade kit

Postby fallout9 » Thu Feb 14, 2019 20:09

Could someone from VKB please confirm if the upgrade kit for the Gladiator MKII would become available soon or not? I have a Gladiator MK2 and I ordered a SCG for it, planning that, if the upgrade kit doesn't show up on sale soon, to get a Gf base. But this morning I've found out that VKB won't be selling a base only package so I really don't know what to do.

An news on this piece of hardware getting available gentlemen? I'm really worried I won't be able to get a GunFighter soon because of the high demand and I'd really try a Kosmie, if not on GunFighter, at least on the Gladiator.

I've seen one of VKB's officials making this statement, but I don't remember if it was on DCS or IL2 forums.

I found the link, However as tomorrow is the final day of May and there has been no sign in their Ali Express store, perhaps May was optimistic on their part.

The cosmos is much lower than the MTF, the load on the plastic mechanics is lower. MTSG is nevertheless tall, a decent lever is obtained. Cosmos has a lockable twist, there are much more buttons than KG12. And a dual-mode ministik is available.

ZY The main controller of the Gladiator is designed taking into account the specifics of the Gladiator body. L-shaped elongated shape of the PCB is not very convenient for installation in other joey. The best option for installing VKB handles on other mechanics would be a bunch of BlackBox + sensors from Gunfighter.

The upgrade kits have been produced.
They are now in hands of public testers.

Installation of the upgrade kit requires full disassembling of the grip which is more than regular maintenance would take.
Therefore, we will make an installation manual after the tests are done.
Before the tests are done there is no manual. Before the manual is done, no sales.
Might take some time, but it is already around the corner, so please bear.
Best Regards,

Hiya, a while ago I bought a pair of VKB Gladiator mkII's for playing elite dangerous, I'd like to now upgrade them to "kosmosima" grips, when the gladiator upgrade kit is released, would a pair of those and a pair of kosmosima's give be all I need to buy? Is there also any plans on releasing the metal gimbal upgrade for the gladiator mkII, converting it to the mkII Pro

This is fantastic news! Thank you guys for continuing to follow through on this!
I'm very much looking forward to this and the twist adapter.
Keep up the good work. I know it has not been quick - some of us have waited quite a long time - but I would rather have solid quality in the end, rather than a quick released product that fails early.
Looking forward to the result of all the hard work!
