Will the Upgrade Kit for NON-pro Gladiator bases be available to buy again?

Gladiator to Gladiator X upgrade will only be available to the testers.
Whether it will or will not be marketed at all, will be decided after the testing is over.
Gladiator Pro - we have no definite plans on when we will make another batch.

- YES, after we are done with immediate jobs.

The Gunfighters are being made though. Not trying to sell you anything, but you might consider a Gunfighter sooner or later, so why wait too long... 8)

The progress between those postings tells me, that your planes have changed meanwhile...

You stated several times in this forum, you seek to have standard models always on stock so that they are available all the time.
On the other hand you are considering to not continue the production of an finished developed, elaborated and estabished model in the short term.

... seems quite antinomic for me

Plans are called so because unlike firm production schedule, they can be adjusted or altered.
We are working on a new joystick that is supposed to come as a replacement to G Pro. It is not clear right now how long it'd take to roll it out. If long, like in "too long", then we will make another batch of GPro. If not as long as that, then GPro will not be made. Simple as this :)

Now I regret not getting a second gunfighter base when it was available. Really looking forward to both the KOSMOSIMA and TECS Throttle Control System. Work fast testers! :)

With this announcement you sent me back to the waiting line...

If I like the new base better than the GPro I would need to rebuy both - base and stick - as the successor model probably will have RevB only?

This is a valid question. We haven't thought that far at present stage. But I see no reason why some quantity of A-bases can't be made.
Now it's not the right time to speculate, anyway.

There is definitely a demand for the Pro or the kit to upgrade to the Pro, I would prefer gladiator if possible over Gunfighter. I got the email asking if I could mod my gladiators (mkii) to the Pros and confirmed I could do this but I sadly wasn't selected afterwards

I have received the Kosmosima and I have done a lengthy review on twitch (soon to be on youtube) and my thoughts so far

positives:
+ you get a screw driver and alan key to customise your joystick and gimbal with.
+ the palm rest options are fantastic, they have a very nice rubber on top to avoid slipping.
+ the buttons feel very solid and sturdy and make a very nice click clack when pressed.
+ there are more buttons in a tighter spot, this is fantastic.
+ the flip trigger is solid and feels great
+ the twist axis is excellent! and the lock screw is excellent!
+ the height of the grip is perfect
+ the labels for the button locations is a great idea
+ the rgb light is excellent for profiles
+ the grip is very comfortable, the most comfortable grip I have used.
+ the grip is easy to customise, the grip casing has very nice brass screw inserts to protect the plastic.

negatives:
- 4 way hate module might require an extra screw (need to confirm with VKB on this)
- need more brass screw inserts for all screws (like the grip casing brass screw inserts)
- trigger switches (red) need to be the harder/louder (yellow) switches
- trigger spring needs to be softer (maybe include a softer trigger spring)
- if possible, more hex screws on the internals
- thumb button position needs to move slightly, my hands were uncomfortable operating the hat on [C1], so I am changing this to the button
- center 4 way hat could move up higher slightly

I have done some customisation on the Kosmosima grip, Gunfighter Base and Software.

Kosmosima Grip Customisation:
I have swapped out mini stick for 5 way hat on [A1] and I prefer button instead of 5 way hat on thumb location [C1] - the thumb location was not very comfortable for my hands, so I prefer a button instead of a hat.
the internals of the grip is absolute engineering genius! clean and easy to disassemble and reassemble, absolutely perfect! - this made the change really easy and simple

Gunfighter Base Customisation:
I swapped out the springs for light #10 and I am using #10 cams as I find this perfect for space sim (I would like VKB to make a cam that is similar to Virpil cosmosim - if this is possible?)

Device Config Customisation:
I am currently working on profile - so far I have changed a few settings
Axes (Precis)
X and Y to (15)
[Dz Lo] = (4)
[Dz Hi] = (2)

I will be doing more tinkering with the grip / base and configuration tool over the next few days and I will give my thoughts on the joystick operation within Elite Dangerous and Overload
I have added more notes on the discord server and I have done a twitch stream that ran for many hours (~5hrs), explaining my thoughts along the journey. (uncensored)
I will edit the twitch footage into a proper video on youtube soon.

I am happy to answer questions in the mean time for the community, so please ask!

I would also like to thank the ENTIRE VKB team for their work on this and providing me the opportunity to review and test for the community.

Read here and provide information. Paragraphs 3,4 can be skipped, specify which grip are worth.
It's hard to guess without knowing it.
