Geez I hope you're wrong, I get this stuff takes time but really? 2 years to make a throttle?

I'm surprised no one else is asking questions about the apparent changes between initial render front controls and the image of the printed grip test prototype:

As much as I want one of these to have a set with my MCG-Pro/GFmkII...if controls are still changing how far away are we? Sigh.

Maybe you should understand that the render is completely RUD, and the photo is only the right part of it? On this occasion, we have a good saying, but I will not give it here :) .

I'm just curious. And two forward hats on just the right side of it is still different than the old one. :D :D right back at you.

Everyone else is just cracking jokes I'm at least engaging on content.

I'm pretty sure what we're seeing; and this is just a guess, is the realization someone at VKB had when they looked at their throttle and realized "Uh oh, our state-of-the-art throttle is missing a TDC axis!"

Thus, two forward 'hats', only one will end up being a thumbstick axis and the other will end up being the hat originally pictured.

Here's another tidbit shared originally in the Russian IL-2 forums; still 3D printed for research and development, but a nice look at the envisioned detent solution and palm-release-plates to lift the throttle grips over these detents (yes, I say detents as there can be more than one detent installed by the user, in different positions, along each throttle axis):

And what we're seeing on the right side of the image is an adjustable wrist support correct?

Wouldn't that be the "palm release plate"?

Those are finger lift detents for both idle/stop and afterburner.

Yeah, I think I see how they work now, your hand wraps over from the image left, then you lift the part to the right with your fingers and that is connected internally to the part sticking down beneath the grip at the left. I somehow read the finger lifts and detent mechanism as being connected to the wraparound grip surface dummy.

But what then is "palm release plate" supposed to mean? Lost in translation?

It looks awesome!

Would be it compatible with the Blackhog controller? The size looks similar to the Thrustmaster throttle. Which are the dimensions of the mounting holes on the VKB TECS?

Cheers!

Apparently the left hand grip is cancelled.

Maybe even the TECs (speculation on my part). They showed us more of the left hand grip than they did the TEC, so thats my reasoning.

VKB doesn't have an ETA for us with the twist.
they have no conversion kit that I am aware of for going rev 2 from rev 1, so the promise of being backwards compatible is non-existant anymore. They initially told me when I had the order and received it, that they couldn't exchange for me, and that all products will have the option, but I see no more rev 1 anymore, so that was a broken promise. I should have done a charge back, essentially and sent it back. It would have been more fair in all honesty.

I think VKB has had some tough times, something about weather and storms in thier location ruined a few plants and they barely stayed afloat etc.. not sure on specifics, but this has contributed to them not progressing, whereas they should have essentially died out and lost/closed the business. The latter part my own speculation.

I see your name a lot, and all I see is you complaining and creating bullshit speculations "on your part", stop inciting argument.
you have a chip on your shoulder.
my advise! go on a holiday and take a break!

stop trying to cause anarchy, because your comments are just rubbish.
You are not on the forums to help or assist anyone
You are just here to vent your frustration
Go somewhere else to do that, we don't need to hear it from you.
If you have a legitimate complaint, take it up with the support, but don't leave it here for us to listen to.
