Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)
I can see a certain similarity here So is it possibly thought that the lower bracket of the UCM can be replaced by a module of the Throttle?

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)
Now with Star Wars Squadrons coming out and actually looking decent, I have another game I want to use this throttle for. And you guys have a bigger customer base.
Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)
Just waiting for the TECS to switch out my twcs throttle (looks rly cheap with the gf and crosswind by the sides). I have a question/idea for your Tecs addons, is it maybe possible for a small keypad? I play also Star Citizen and i think maybe id would be nice do attach a small keypad for the 'on foot gameplay' (FPS) left or right from the throttle (left- // right handed) best thing with cherry connectors so we can switch the buttons as we like.
Best regards and thanks for all your work

Just jumping into say that I too entered the world of flight sims recently with the purchase of a VR HMD. I did the research and came up with the Gladiator-K, but am looking for a throttle to complete the setup...ideally in time for Squadrons and MS Flight Sim. I'm guessing it won't be available when Squadrons launches?
+1 for VKB TECS release!

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)
Any news on the release. The first page suggested in was much closer to production than the 2 years this thread has been ongoing.

It's VKB, You wait, then wait some more, then wait even longer and then when all hope is gone they release product
Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)
I just hope they make enought to fulfill the growing demands for this product on the first run

True, and today it is even closer. New product takes years to develop. 2 years is a very short time. 5 would be more reasonable.
VKB throttle will be released before the end of this lunar year. Unless the virus brings a new lockout, which remains possible.

Thanks Aerogator. Maybe move to New Zealand to avoid the virus.
Can you share updated product photos to help us get through to February 2021? That's ok if it's not the right time. I hope there will be enough throttles made to meet the initial demand. VKB have created a lot of interest. I'm a big fan and tell anyone asking about HOTAS how good VKB products are.
Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)
Honestly we're itching to do so - but nope. Things changed in the world. There are companies (and their names are known) who are always happy to steal others' designs.grinder wrote:updated product photos
I do appreciate your interest, but please understand...

Please count me among the VKB fans eagerly awaiting the arrival of your Throttle Control System!
Would it help move things along if I placed a pre-order?

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)
SOON™
Still hoping for this:
I would like to be able to use the throttle slider for forward and reverse thrust.. (space sim).
Middle position on the slider (zero thrust) should therefore have a "soft stop" and the option to define a dead-zone at that point.
The same type of "soft stop" would be nice to have at the 10% position and at the 90% position (of the entire stroke), also with the option to define a dead-zone at those positions.
I'm sure a lot of people don't want "soft stops" at those positions - therefore it would be really nice if the "soft stop" positions could be modified or even disabled independently on each slider.
[EDIT] - Please forget all the above EXCEPT the push-through detent at 50% stroke and the ability to define a dead zone around it.
Afterburner should be a button that you push (maybe a toggle switch), nothing more.
I didn't think it through when I drew the diagram.. Sorry.

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)
I hope the throttle, when it comes, has a lot of buttons, like F18 on steroids, so it can be bound to any reasonable modern and less modern airplane.
I can hope for long throw, as that makes refueling and everything else so much easier. I hope for a detent, for WW2 and modern jets. And physical idle.
I hope for additional dials around, to set trim axis in WW2, and ligths/volumes/....
And I hope for a side axis that makes sense for the Harrier, as well as flap lever/...
I hope for a speedbrake, typical for a speedbrake, which stays in one of the two positions.
So, hopefully... one day.
