I am excited, but I have certain concern. I am currently using the thrustmaster warthog. It is a great joystick, but not without design flaws. All of their switches and some of their buttons are not detectable by the games. You have to map them to simulate keyboard keys. For example, the flap up button is mapped as "Lctrl + F", when I pressing the button, it registers to my computer as ctrl + F on the keyboard. But this creates a problem, since the ctrl key is mapped, the ctrl is used in the simulation ask one of the "pinky" key, so when this key is pressed, it re-maps all other keys including buttons on my joystick. On top of that, there is a bug in the software, if you program it in "press" or "holding" mode (mode that simulate constantly press or hold a key, which is essential for functions like frequence tunning, because under the normal "pulse" mode, it only press the key for the fracture of a second. So for a simple tunning you have to press it multiple times instead of press and hold) you will trash up your entire windows. Sometimes your computer won't be able to detect your joystick after you enter the joystick profile.
So if you can promise me this throttle control doesn't need key mapping and profiling software, and the DCS can detect all of your buttons and switches, I will buy your throttle control the moment it releases.
