Unable To Flash

Postby dp111 » Sun May 31, 2026 18:52

Gladiator NXT with THQ and SEM connected. Have flashed in the past with no issues. Trying to update to current firmware. When running bootloader and pressing either the Boot button or the Flash button the controller disconnects. It also disconnects when double clicking on it. Same result when using a different USB port. When pressing the reset button it does indeed reset the controller, but it also disconnects. And advice would be appreciated.

Tried downloading new bootloader thinking mine may have been corrupted somehow. Made no difference.

It doesn't disconnect, it's restarting in bootloading mode. Just follow this guide.

Thanks. Yes, I have followed this video carefully. When I press Flash It nothing happens. I'll try it again later today when I have time.

So I tried again with the same result. When I click FLASH IT nothing happens. Prior to that, after I double click on the controller, my PC beeps. This is the same beep I get when I plug in or unplug the controller. Also, I then open the config tool and the controller is not showing up. My rudder pedals are there, but not the controller. If I then unplug it and plug it back in I get the beeps and it then appears in the config tool. This is why I believe it is disconnecting. The controller is working fine, so there is currently no real need to flash it. However, I would like to be able to in case it becomes necessary. As I stated before, I have in the past using this same procedure with no issue.
