Hello,

I play all sorts of flying games from MS flight sim & DCS all the way through to arcade style like battlefield and ace combat.

I have bought the following VKB flight gear and it is awesome :D:
1. Gunfighter mk4 L handed edition.
2. STECS Max throttle R handed edition.
3. T-rudder mk5 pedals.

The VKB device config says:
1. S-TECS SPACE-R THROTTLE MAX STEM XT2 v2.199
2. VKBSim Space Gunfighter L XT2 v2.197
3. VKBSim T-Rudder XT2 v21.99

I have the STECS Max throttle R handed edition and T-rudder mk5 pedals recognised in steam controller settings but I can't get the gunfighter mk4 L handed edition recognised and I have looked and tried multiple different strategies from different sources and non have worked.

Could the different driver/firmware version be why steam is not recognising the gunfighter L handed edition the driver/firmware versions are different?

My question are:
1. How do I get steam to recognise the gunfighter mk4 L handed edition recognised as a controller?

Thanks a lot

It's unlikely the firmware is the issue here (but you can always flash to the latest available here, latest public release is 2.19.9).

Have you checked whether other applications, like gamepad tester can see the Gunfighter and whether it works fine there?

Also, the Steam Input UI is pretty bad, the devices are arranged horizontally, make sure you're not missing the horizontal scrollbar underneath.
