Assembling the WWII THQ Throttle grip

Hi!
I am about to assemble the add-on grip to a THQ module. In the Combo package - and in all photos that I have seen - the grip is placed on the left-hand side making use of the axes #1 and #2. Due to layout reasons I would prefer having on the right-hand side on axes #2 and #3.
Is this arrangement possible? If so, is there anything special that one must pay attention to?

It does not matter. The only time you need to pay attention is when you want to install the grip across two THQs, as the default setup uses the outer two levers as sensors with the middle serving as a mechanical stabilizer. Just be sure to avoid pinching the cable.
