Can't figure out how to split my device

Hi guys, I just picked up a VKB GNX THQ and WWII KG12 stick, and I have the misfortune of trying to get them to bind to Arma Reforger. I've been troubleshooting some issues, and long story short, I believe the issue is Arma doesn't recognize that many axes. I am trying to "split" my stick and THQ, but I am unsure how to do it or where to begin. Where do I go to do this, and how do I split my device?
