Numerical range for Bias is too small

The accepted range of manually-entered Bias values in the software is [-2047;2048]; Unfortunately this range is sometimes too small for some sensors. Fortunately bias values automatically set via ACn do not have this limitation, but sometimes manual calibration is necessary or more convenient than auto-center.
For example here is the ACn = on bias value for my STECS X axis when the throttle is pushed all the way forward at calibration start:
It would be impossible for me to set bias to 2427 manually since the upper limit is 2048:
