to turn my F1 button on the base of my Gladiator NXT EVO OTA into a switch that makes my y axis relative, but when I press it the axis just shoots all the way to maximum and stays there. I can't pin point what I could be doing wrong or if this is a bug.

Any help would be wonderful. I am pretty new at this.

This sounds like your deadzone is too small so the stick is never seen as centered, therefore the creeping value? Increase DzLo for the axis in question under profile > axes.

Or is it that the value only increases no matter which side of the center you're moving? That's fixed in the latest experimental firmware you can grab over at https://sites.google.com/view/njoy-32/home?authuser=0
