So, i'm having some difficulty setting up the X and Y axis for the POV analog stick on the top of my VKB Gladiator as I would like them to be setup.

I've done some tinkering around, but haven't had much luck.

I'm trying to set it so that when I push up on the Y axis, I can gradually apply brake pressure in IL2.

The same for using left on the X axis to gradually apply to the left and vice versa for right.

Is there a way to split this stick into essentially 4 individual axis's to accomplish this?

In the screenshot, it's numbers 5 and 6 that are in question (the only ones with "Cn" unchecked).

Using your example from that post, I tried following, but still not getting the results i'm looking form.

Can you confirm if this screenshot shows what should be done to split axis 5 to 7 and 8?

Why split it into 4 axles if you need two for brakes?

Ideally I would like to press up on the stick for both brakes, left for left, and right for right.

With IL2's mapping, this doesnt seem possible in the default config.
