Gladiator NXT premium frequently shuts off / resets

My new Gladiator NXT frequently shuts off or resets when I touch it or the Stronghold UCM mount to which it is secured. When this happens, the solid blue light at the top of the stick turns to a flashing white and the two round lights on the base turn a flashing red and blue OR all the lights on the stick and base turn off completely and I have to restart my computer and unplug / plug back in the joystick USB cable.

No problems so far with my STECS mini plus, but this issue with the Gladiator makes flight sims unplayable.

What is happening and how can this issue be fixed?

What happens if you touch Gladiator's cable?

I've had this happen to me as well with both the NXT Gladiator, and Omni-Throttle. Could it potentially be from plugging them into a powered USB hub? I know it's a static issue, but dang.

Try plugging them to the back of computer while getting everything else disconnected from USB other than mouse and keyboard.
