[bug] Curve Wizard decrements (some) values by one

Postby jukelo » Thu Jan 23, 2025 17:01

Firmware: 2.18F(7), 2.18.3
Software: 0.93.21, 0.93.00, 0.92.88

Since Alex just fixed the bug-of-the-century I figured I'd throw in a handful of low-impact bugs for a change as a way of thanks

Issue: Opening the Curve Wizard in Profile > Axes decrements some of the response multiplier values by one each time. Once the curve wizard is closed, the modified values are saved into the response multiplier table. Successive opening and closing of the curve wizard will repeatedly decrement the values.
  • Not all values are modified: cells containing 255, 128, 64 or a multiple of 5 seem to retain their value in all cellss. Some values seem affected in one cell but not the other (for example 4 is a 'valid' value for cells 50% and 100%, but not for the rest).

Steps:
  1. Open the curve wizard for any curve, make sure Linked and Show value EQ are enabled
  2. Drag down the right-most value until it reads 4. The rest should read 4 as well.
  3. Click OK to save the changes
  4. Validate the changes against the response value table on the left: it should read 4 throughout
  5. Open the curve wizard again, enable Show Value EQ. Do not change any value:
    • Observe all values are now reading 3 instead of 4 except for the 50% and 100% points.
  6. Close the Curve wizard:
    • Observe the response table matches the modified values from the Curve Wizard.
  7. Repeat 4 and 5:
    • The values will decrement by one again. They will go down to zero if you keep opening and closing the wizard.
