Hi,
I updated my gladiator NXT to 2.18.9 and the A1 Hat switch is no longer recognized. It works fine in the analog mini-stick mode. As you can see in the attached file, the hat switch section in the logical layer of the VKB config software is greyed out. I think I made a mistake during the installation of the update; is there a way to fix this?

Try to downgrade firmware. Sometimes newest not equal to best.

Re: A1 Hat switch on Gladiator NXT stopped being recognized after updating
I tried 2 older versions (2.09 and 2.11) but there was no difference. I also tried the VKB button tester and POV button is recognized, so I don't think the problem is physical wiring of the stick. Is there a way to do a hard, factory reset of the stick?
Re: A1 Hat switch on Gladiator NXT stopped being recognized after updating
The greyed out part is normal, stuff is mapped to POV in the physical layer so the logical layer does not activate. Also, those lines are only used with the mechanical hat switch module, not with the ministick.
If the POV works in button tester, then what do you mean by "no longer recognized"?

Ok, I now feel stupid; I was having this problem with Warthunder and assumed the stick glitched after I updated it; but I now tested in other games and the POV function works fine. So it appears the problem is with Warthunder itself, maybe caused by the recent update. I'll try to contact Warthunder support for help.
