Problem with my left stick Gunfighter mk4

Postby gungar » Wed Dec 11, 2024 21:57

So i received yesterday my dual gunfighter mk4 and i am so happy that stuff is really high quality BUT i have a problem with my left omnithrottle stick.

For context, yesterday i mount everything but i had more difficulty mounting the left stick on the omnithrottle piece and when i wanted to remove the stick (i had a hard time inserting it all the way down) to reposition before reinserting, a bit of the inside of the stick poke out. I put it back in with the little rubber that keep it in place and then i waited 1 day before plug the stick on my pc (as advertised on the box) because of the cold weather.

And today i plug them in and followed the youtube guide for the calibration. After the calibration of the right stick no problem everything is working but something is not working right on the left stick. After the calibration ended, the software told me something is wrong with the twist (and there is a red light blincking on the blackbox) and it wants to redo the calibration. I did it again same problem.

Here is a photo of the setup :

I also found difference in the calibration tab between both stick. Should it have those differences?
Here are the two print screen :

I can't find the problem with my left stick, someone can help me?

Try updating the firmware (from here) on both BBs first and reconfiguring and then calibrating.
This is clearly indicated in the top line of the configurator window (the recommended firmware is indicated in brackets).
Show the Global-External, Profile-Axes and Test-External Devices tabs.
The Test-Axes1 tab is uninformative, this is the final result, and we need the cause of the problem at an earlier stage.

The firmware update fixed the problem with the omnithrottle. Thank you very much :D
