My setup is an NXT EVO with a SEM on the left and THQ on the right.
The SEM is working perfectly.
My joystick's X axis is not registering anywhere on the test axes page under the physical or virtual controller, and the third stick on the THQ is not registering anywhere as well. I will attach the screenshots of the pages below as I have seen others do. The guidance given to others that I have found hasn't worked for me.
Thanks

Re: Missing X Axis and third axis on THQ
Try to update the firmware and the configurator from here. After the firmware, you must reset the settings with the Default button and then autoconfiguration with calibration.
Re: Missing X Axis and third axis on THQ
Just tried 2.18 A and 2.18B. Failing consistently at the configuration stage.
After the firmware loads it goes to Device Config. I deny the first autoconfig request so I can click default. After that when I click yes for Autoconfig the stick goes dark, disappears from the list and does not reappear. I have to F1/F2 to get the stick to reappear in the list. Reattempting config at that point has the same result.
Side note: When I click [Find & Show] instead of [Find & Auto Config] both GNX peripherals are listed under sub:1. It was my understanding that since they are not the same GNX type I would not have to change their subaddress. Is that correct?

Re: Missing X Axis and third axis on THQ
Followup: I reflashed the firmware another time with 2.18B and the configuration was successful. I am not sure what changed, but this was the third time I flashed it with that FW version.
After configuration was successful I was able to calibrate the X Axis and confirm that the sliders on the THQ are working. But, now the Z Axis on the joystick (middle on bottom row below the F1 button) only goes up to 57648 when it is all of the way to the bottom. The other end zeroes out like it should.

Re: Missing X Axis and third axis on THQ
Try with firmware v2_18_4. Reflash, click the Default button, click Yes to configure popup, click No to calibration popup, go the the Test/Axes tab, click Start Calibr, calibrate all axes, click End Calibr button.
Re: Missing X Axis and third axis on THQ
So just got a package today and basically seeing the same issue.
I have a Gladiator EVO and THQ and when the THQ model is connected, the stick X-axis disappears. Also only the first two axes of the THQ are recognized...
I tried updating firmware multiple times but it doesn't seems to change anything. Also not quite sure what the difference is between the different FW files?
What does the kmz41 mean?

Re: Missing X Axis and third axis on THQ
Show the Global-External, Profile-Axes tabs from the configurator.
Look at this topic, everything is explained there.
Try the latest firmware 2_18D.
The first GNX EVO releases had other sensors, so there is such firmware for them. The only difference is the inversion of some axes.

Re: Missing X Axis and third axis on THQ
Some notes from Discord: The version currently offered on the NA site, 2.18.9, has the following issues with VC axes:
Workaround on 2.18.9: set X axis usage to "shifter" in the dropdown. That gets put on the bus as steering, which is mapped to the X axis.
- Autoconfig populates nonsense on the main controller. For the popular GNE-SCG-P+THQ combo with 9 axes, the X axis on the main controller is populated with a strange usage (elevator trim IIRC) and a huge anti-DZ (28.4% or something)
- Default usages like X/Y/Z are not available on the affected axes
- Simulation usages are off by one
