Got last week the rudder pedals for helicopter flying ..
loving them and really made helicopter flying much easier
however i find them quite "light" and the only issue have with them is that the center notch is so "light" that just putting the feet on them makes it miss the notch and i have to search for it .. this made me use a 4-5 dead zone ..
I saw the video of the tension adjustement to high.. so the question is .. do i need "mandatory" to flip the cam part while switching tension setting?
In high tension setting does the center notch change at all ? does it improve or lessen?
I ask this before embarquing in all the work to swap the thing as it looks a bit intimidating in the video...

basically what i ask is:
-Fliping the cam arround is mandatory if switching the tension setting or is a separate setting from the tension? (ie: just to set the center notch)
wich is the option that comes by default? soft or hard center?

The rudders are coming by default with the soft cam. If you want to use the hard cam you have to swap the cam around.
Re: T-Rudder pedals tension adjusting and center notch
Thanks.. so basically the cam setting (fliping it arround) and the tension spring adjustment are separated things... you can do them separated ..
I wanted to clarify because in the video it does all in one go so it seems that you must to flip the cam arround in order to change the spring .. when if i understand correctly the cam only needs to be fliped if you want to change the center notch

Thanks.. but just did the swap to high tension and also swaped the cam and found out that in my mk.V the cam came in the hard cam position .. so i had to flip it again..
btw what is the porpouse of the tensioner screw? to separate the lever from the cam when doing swap thing? mine is separated physically from the lever and center and seems to operate fine...
