VKB EVO Hatswitch Axis experiencing float / jittering / nonresponsive

Hello, I am trying to figure out what could be causing the mentioned problem in the subject line. I think I'll need to break down the joystick and check whether something has been displaced or not. However, I'm not sure how to go about this and what it should/shouldn't look like. Anyone with a guide on how to take these apart or a link would be greatly appreciated. If anyone else has experienced this, or knows how to solve this problem please reply back and let me know what it is you did to solve this problem, thank you!
