Greetings, in 2016 I've bought a Gladiator Pro (with rev A connector). The game I was playing (Star Citizen) got gimped flight model wise and up to this year the joystick, with T-Rudder Mk4, the first VKB Throttle Gametrix ECS, TM 16k for left hand and Modern Combat Grip head for rev A were kept in the boxes. This week I have installed the Modern Combat Grip Pro head and after flashing all works except the upper labeled Master Mode hat on the top of the head. The VKB joy tester don't recognize the hat movements, only the button press. In the VKB Config software on the hardware layer i see that it is listed only as a button (63) and if i press it it's registered as this button.
My question is how to enable this hat?
One possible issue could be if this is due to different versions because all of the files in Gladiator flash folders are V2 and the joystick is rev A, the old connector like Mamba series. I've flashed with this file _Gladiator-K_MCG_Pro_v2_17_6.vkb. By default the fire buttons are 17 and 41 instead of 1 and 2 and I always have to use profile to remap them to 1 and 2 (for my joystick this is the case from when i bough it, even with the default KG12 head) and for this reason could it be that the hat can be wrongly assigned as a button and how can i make a fix in the Physical or Logical layer configurations for it to work or if the rom is different.
Also, when I ordered the MCG Pro years ago I've ordered a Warthog grip adapter if one such head finds a way to me from a broken base, but on the joystick roms zip file i don't see a version for Gladiator with Warthog, what rom should be used then for this head?
Also I've flashed the Gametrix ECS with the provided VKB_Throttle_v1_39.2.vkb rom file, but the VKB Device Config software still tells me that the version of the rom for this device is too old. If you have old rom versions for first edition Gladiator Pro with MCG Pro with old VKB Device Config that will accept the throttle it will be nice if you provide a link for such version.

Maybe a firmware issue, but you can manually program both ministicks as you wish - check this guide.

With old Gladiator base, the axes for Master Mode hat is assigned to axes 10 and 11, as there are not enough axes within the first 8 to accommodate them. To access that, you'd need enable virtual controller and also enable and make visible the axes 10 and 11 in VKBDevCfg. You'll also want to config appropriate deadzones and such.
I'm reposting the solution here in case anybody with 5 pin connector Modern Combat Grip Pro head wonders why only one button/axis is not working and operating with one of the analog axis/hats only as button like i did
