VKB Gladiator NXT X/Roll Axis failing

Postby austin1346 » Mon Jul 15, 2024 23:13

I just pulled my stick out of storage and the X/Roll axis is bugging out. Input is really choppy and all over the place, cuts in and out randomly. I have tried digital and analog calibration multiple times. I have the latest firmware and VKBCFG software.

The stick worked fine last time I used it.

Please see attached image for axes output.
Anyone know a fix, or if this is a hardware issue?

Looks like the magnet on the Y axis came loose, it happened on a certain batch of original NXTs. Here's the fix.

It actually ended up being the other magnet. Not the one hidden behind the circuit board. I thought it was in all the way at first but on closer inspection it was loose and popped out about 1/16inch and fell out. Superglued it back in and working fine now.
