I just mounted my STECS to my simracing/flightsim hybrid rig. I also use a bass shaker while racing (mounted under the seat). The STECS gets a little bit of these vibrations though (for example the small recessed grey button at the front of the left throttle rattles a bit, where the text "RST" is printed), could this be harmful? Also have a VKB Gladiator on pre-order which will also be installed on same rig. Have put a small piece of double-sided tape on the button to make it stop rattling. But mainly concerned about harming the device.
Could rig vibrations be harmful to VKB Stecs/Gladiator?

Any electronic device might get damaged if it's under permanent vibrations; now it depends how hard it's vibrating and other factors, but probably you'll be fine. I suggest though to put a sheet of rubber between the throttle and mount plate, to act like a buffer.
Nice setup btw
