VKB usb cable troubles

Hi im in need of some help with my VKB gladiators. They have been fine until this morning when i fired star citizen up and the left stick was unresponsive despite the power light on. Ive checked in Windows games controllers and the vkb stick/button checker and its picking them up fine.

I use buzzkillers keybindings which uses joytokey and this is where the problem starts. It only recognizes 1 stick at a time, if i plug both in it will only see joy 1, if i just plug in joy 2 it works but if i plug joy 1 back in joy 2 instantly doesnt work. Ive reinstalled joytokey that didnt work, ive also tried the star citizen in game vkb profile and throttle (joy 2) was dead. After this i tried war thunder on steam, same again no throttle. Has anyone any ideas/advice on what i can do next? Thanks

If the joystick works in the native/ Windows tester, then the issue is on the game side; try to reassign the controls or reset the custom preferences in game.
